WOW! Great news this week. I have just received our certificate and badges from Visit Scotland. They have accredited RobbieMac Tours as a Northern Highlands information partner for their ‘iKnow’ programme.
What does this mean you ask? Well, that we are accredited local ambassadors.
We will therefore provide visitors to our location with information, assistance and advice. Our specialty area is the Northern Highlands of Scotland. It is certainly great news for us. Our tour guiding services will be vastly complemented!
My STGA Green Badge Northern Highlands qualifications and guiding experience contributed to this accreditation. However, we will also be offering guided tour options with our accommodation service at Pentland View. This contributed to our accreditation.
Thus, our comprehensive hand-outs of guided or self drive tour sheets will be valuable to visitors. In addition, a large library of Scottish books will be available for residents in our office/reception area.
This is therefore a great beginning for the 2018 tourist season, which really kicks off over Easter.
